You can provision nodes for Interana single-node or multi-node clusters on the following platforms:

Create an AWS instance

You can deploy an Interana cluster in the cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The AWS instance is where we'll store the Interana software and your data. We have some specific recommendations for setting this up. For detailed instructions, see Sandbox Deployment Guide: create an AWS instance.

You'll need more processing power and space to run Interana than is available from a free AWS account. Based on Amazon's calculator, it will cost approximately $300 per month to run your Interana instance (based on pricing for Amazon US-East).

Create an AMI

You can deploy an Interana cluster in the cloud using Amazon Machine Images (AMI). The AMI instance is where we'll store the Interana software and your data. We have some specific recommendations for setting this up. For detailed instructions, see Admin Guide: Install single-node Interana AMI.

Create an Azure instance

Microsoft Azure is an open, flexible, enterprise-grade cloud computing platform. You can deploy an Interana cluster in the cloud using Azure. See the Microsoft Azure documentation for instructions on how to provision Linux virtual machines (VMs) for Interana cluster nodes. Then, follow the instructions in the Admin Guide: Install multi-node Interana.

Create a VMware instance

You can deploy an Interana cluster in the cloud using VMware. See the VMware documentation for instructions on how to create Linux virtual machines (VMs), for your Interana cluster nodes. Then, follow the instructions in the Admin Guide: Install multi-node Interana.
