SSO through AD (Active Directory)

SSO through Active Directory (AD) allows a user to use one set of login credentials (e.g., name and password) to access multiple applications. The user is authenticated for all the applications for which they have rights, eliminating login prompts every time a user switches between applications.

An agent on the application server retrieves authentication credentials for a user from a dedicated SSO policy server, then authenticates the user against an AD repository.
