Derived column

Derived columns perform stateless computation on data from stored columns. They are defined by the user using D
code through the user interface.

Use derived columns to computer a desired column from stored columns. For example, you can use a derived column to subtract the start time from the end time of a transaction to calculate a duration.

Users that frequently work with derived columns often refer to derived columns as "dcols."
